Origin: Hoya sichuanensis is native to Sichuan Province, China, where it naturally grows climbing on slopes and cliffs near roadsides at elevations of approximately 600–1,000 meters (1,970–3,280 feet). It was previously sold in cultivation as Hoya lyi NOID before being correctly identified as Hoya sichuanensis. Leaves: Produces small, narrow, succulent leaves that are noticeably thick and adapted to retain moisture. The compact foliage creates a tidy appearance and makes this species especially attractive as it climbs or trails.
