Hoya 'Pink Mojito' RHM 2387 is the kind of Hoya that makes you look twice each time a new leaf opens. Its green foliage can develop striking cream and pink variegation, giving each leaf a slightly different pattern and making the changing new growth part of the fun of growing it.

This listing is for a rooted cutting with active new growth in a 2-inch pot, giving you an established young plant ready to continue developing in your collection.

Hoya 'Pink Mojito' RHM 2387 Rooted Cutting Care & Details

  • Origin & Parentage: Hoya 'Pink Mojito' is a modern horticultural hybrid circulated as RHM 2387 and commonly listed as Hoya 'Swiffer’s Dream' × unknown.

  • Leaves: The main attraction is the variegated foliage, which can combine green with pale cream and pink tones. New leaves can be especially colorful, and stronger light may encourage more noticeable variegation. Because every leaf develops differently, the plant can become increasingly interesting as the vine matures. Grower observations also report stronger variegation under higher light.

  • Watering: Water thoroughly, then allow the potting mix to dry substantially before watering again. A small 2-inch pot can dry more quickly than a mature plant in a larger container, so check the substrate rather than watering on a fixed schedule. Hoyas generally perform best in a free-draining mix and are sensitive to continually wet roots.

  • Light: Give Hoya 'Pink Mojito' bright, indirect light or strong artificial light. I grow Hoyas successfully under Barrina T5 lights. Good light supports compact growth and helps this plant show off its variegation, but plants should be acclimated gradually to stronger light to reduce the risk of leaf damage. Bright light is generally recommended for Hoya, while prolonged intense direct sun can scorch foliage.

  • Temperature & Humidity: At Hoya Treasures, this plant is grown at approximately 85°F with 70–75% humidity. These warm, humid conditions support active growth, although plants can adapt to somewhat different household conditions when changes are gradual.

  • General Hoya Care: Use a chunky, well-draining substrate with plenty of airflow around the roots, provide good light, and avoid keeping the root zone constantly wet. For more information on potting, watering, lighting, and growing Hoyas indoors, see our complete Hoya care guide.
