Hoya serpens (Splash) have tiny, thick leaves and look good either hanging or on a trellis. They prefer cooler temperatures and lower light than some other hoyas.
They can be pretty slow to root and get started, but once they get going, they can grow quite quickly and love to branch out on their own.
The splash on the leaves is random. You never know how much you will get on each leaf. Sometimes they revert and sometimes they turn almost solid silver. If you do get a strand that isn't as splashy as you would like, then cut the plant back to the first splashy leaf and try your luck again. You can do that as many times as you want.
