Variegation on the inside of the leaves is usually called inner variegation, and variegation along the edges of the leaves is usually called outer variegation or albo/albomarginata - albo meaning white and marginata meaning on the margins / outside edge.

Usually outer variegation is white and inner variegation is multi-colored and creamy.
